The All Black halfback Piri Weepu says he won't have any problems if he's called upon to start against the Springboks in the second Tri-Nations match in Wellington this weekend.
The team naming has been delayed to give Jimmy Cowan and Joe Rokocoko more time to recover from injuries.
Weepu spent a large chunk of the Super 14 on the bench for the Hurricanes, but says he's worked hard on his fitness in the past few weeks.
He says despite being in the reserves, knowing he's going to get some game time keeps him on edge.
