The New Zealand Under 20 women's football team has lost their second straight match at the Under 20 World Cup in Germany, going down 2-1 to North Korea at Bielefeld.
The Koreans scored once in each half while Bridgette Armstrong scored New Zealand's goal right at the end of normal time.
The Junior Football Ferns needed to win the group B game to remain alive after their opening 2-1 loss to Sweden.
They face Brazil in their last pool game on Tuesday.
