Spain's Dani Pedrosa has won the German MotoGP to gain a little ground on world championship leader Jorge Lorenzo while the champion Valentino Rossi finished fourth in his first race six weeks after breaking his leg
Pedrosa finished 3.355 seconds ahead of his compatriot Lorenzo who had started on pole but had to settle for second in a re-started race after a crash on lap nine at the Sachsenring circuit.
The Australian Casey Stoner was third and with 10 rounds to go Yamaha's Lorenzo leads with 185 points with the Honda rider Pedrosa second on 138.
