The Australian winger Drew Mitchell may be in for a quick recall from the cold when coach Robbie Deans names his Wallabies team for their Tri-Nations series opener against South Africa.
Mitchell's been recalled, along with Cameron Shepherd, and they'll compete for a placeopposite Adam Ashley-Cooper against the Springboks in Brisbane on Saturday night after a knee injury ruled out Peter Hynes.
Mitchell was dumped after disappointing in the June Tests against England and Ireland.
He was left in no doubt that he needed to lift his game and provide more impact on both attack and defence if he wanted to play a 46th test.
