Roosters come from behind to beat Bulldogs

The Roosters have beaten the Bulldogs 36-22 in Sydney, scoring the last three tries after trailing 30-18 early in the second half of skipper Braith Anasta 200th NRL game.

And the Raiders have thrashed Newcastle 52-16 in Canberra after leading 40-0 at half-time.

It's the first time since 2008 the Roosters have won three straight and they return to the the top four, while the Bulldogs are in trouble six points outside the top eight.

With seven rounds remaining the Warriors are third on points and fifth on points differential after their home win over Melbourne on Saturday night, when Parramatta came from 22-nil down to beat Penrith 34-28.

St George Illawarra lead with 30 points, four clear of Penrith, with Wests Tigers, the Roosters and Warriors on 24 after their fifth straight win, which last happened seven years ago.
