Better news for injured All Black

6:30 am on 21 July 2010

The injured All Blacks utility back Richard Kahui is set to return to rugby in three to four weeks because his shoulder injury's not as bad as first thought.

Kahui saw a specialist in Auckland on Monday after injuring his right shoulder in the All Blacks first Tri-Nations Test win over the Springboks in Auckland.

The team doctor Deb Robinson says he has a small facture that's improving rapdily and doesn't need surgery at this stage.

He'll be pleased he can work on strengthening work and rehabilitation instead of facing a third shoulder operation.

The All Blacks will assemble in Melbourne this weekend to prepare for the first Test against Australia there on Saturday week.
