Kewell extends Galatasaray stay as Moss makes move

The All Whites goalkeeper Glen Moss links up with his new club Gold Coast United today as an Australian international ended speculation that he'd also join the A-League side.

Harry Kewell - who was sent off for handball against Ghana at the World Cup - has agreed a one-year contract extension with Turkish side Galatasaray rather than head to Gold Coast.

The club's been the centre of many column inches lately with another New Zealand star, Shane Smeltz, reportedly in talks about rejoining his former club after an aborted Chinese move.

Moss switches from Melbourne Victory while yet another All White, the veteran Ivan Vicelich, is expected to agree terms with Chinese club Shenzhen Ruby FC shortly.

Vicelich has been checking out facilities at Shenzhen with a view to a four-month deal.
