Two New Zealand crews, the men's double scull and women's lightweight single scull, have progressed to the semi-finals at the World Under 23 Rowing Championships in Belarusia.

Robbie and Karl Manson were untroubled in the first heat of the double sculls, leading from start to finish to reach the semi-finals with a four second victory ahead of the Ukranian double.

Leah Stanley also advanced to the semi-finals after scoring a solid second place in her first race in the women's lightweight single scull.
