Murali becomes first ever bowler to take 800 test wickets

The retiring Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan says he's too old to continue playing test cricket, despite becoming the first ever bowler to take 800 wicket's in the long form of the game.

Muralitharan took the final wicket with the last ball of his test career as Sri Lanka cruised to a 10-wicket victory over India in the first test in Galle.

The 38 year old is leading wicket taker in test and one day cricket, has the most 5-wicket hauls in an innings at Test level, the most 10-wicket hauls in a test match and is the only player to take 10 wickets in a match against every Test playing nation.
