British Super League champions Leeds have granted New Zealand rugby league international Greg Eastwood's request for a transfer back to the NRL.
Eastwood only moved to Leeds from Canterbury at the start of the season, but the second-rower has struggled to settle in England and wants to be closer to his family.
The Rhinos have agreed to Eastwood's request and the 23-year-old is likely to join an NRL side at the end of the season if a team is willing to pay just over $200,000 for his services.
Eastwood is currently sidelined with a leg injury, his second long-term absence of the season, and he admitted it had been tough asking Leeds to allow him to return home.
