No suspension for Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell

6:06 am on 2 August 2010

The Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell will face no further action over his sending off in Saturday's Tri Nations rugby Test against the All Blacks at Etihad Stadium.

Mitchell fronted a SANZAR judicial hearing in Melbourne where the panel found the red card was sufficient penalty.

The Waratahs winger was ordered from the field in the 43rd minute by referee Craig Joubert after being issued with a second yellow card.

The Australian was sin binned in the 28th minute of the first half for a late and dangerous tackle.

He was shown a red card in the third minute of the second half after a second yellow card offence for a professional foul.
