Wallabies coach promises they'll be a force at World Cup

The Australian rugby coach Robbie Deans says the Wallabies will be a force to be reckoned with at next year's World Cup in New Zealand, despite staring down the barrel of the worst trans-Tasman losing streak in 63 years.

The Wallabies were outclassed by the All Blacks last weekend in Melbourne and a similar performance in Christchurch on Saturday should give the All Blacks their ninth win in a row over the Wallabies, and hand New Zealand the Bledisloe Cup for the eighth straight year.

However Deans says this year's results mean little compared with success at the World Cup and he's promising the Wallabies will be a much better side at next year's tournament.
