Woods hits rock bottom in Ohio

Tiger Woods' life is in tatters - on and off the golf course.

As the defending champion at the Bridgstone Invitational tournament in Akron, Ohio, Woods has hit rock bottom, struggling round in 77 to finish 18-over par, his career-worst performance.

Woods had previously won seven titles in 11 starts round the famed Firestone course, but he goes into next week's final major championship of the year, the PGA, with his game in total disarray and the emotional state of his mind highly questionable.

After completing his final round three hours before the leaders teed off, Woods told reporters "shooting 18 over par is not fun".
