Draws were popular in the opening round of the A-League football championship, as Central Coast Mariners scored the only win of the round, beating newcomers Melbourne Heart 1-0.
Last year's finalists Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory battled out a 3-3 draw.
The Wellington Phoenix had the bye in the opening round.
