The Australian men's hockey team have won their third successive Champions Trophy, beating England 4-0 in the final in Germany.

The win equalled the most lopsided victory in the history of the competition.

It was Australia's 11th Champions Trophy title, extending their competition record.

Having won all of their six matches in Monchengladbach, Australia recorded the tournament's fifth perfect campaign following Pakistan in 1978 and 1980, the Netherlands in 2000 and Germany in 2001.
