The Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken says she was very happy with the intensity her players showed in their opening international of the season, but more will be required with tougher opposition approaching.
The Ferns beat Samoa 92-28 in Porirua on Saturday and next meet Jamaica in a two-Test series next week before taking on Australia.
Aitken was suitably impressed with her team's all round skills and fitness. She says they look very sharp but will need some "jumping legs on" against Jamaica.
