The Sri Lankan spinning wizard Muttiah Muralitharan has announced he's keen to continue playing limited overs cricket for another two or three years.

38 year old Murali retired from test cricket last month after becoming the first player to take 800 test wickets, and he's told the Sri Lankan selectors he'd like to help his side win their second World Cup one day title when they co-host the event next year with India and Bangladesh.

Otherwise he'll play the Twenty20 game for another two or three years and some English county cricket.
