The Indian Twenty-20 cricket side, the Royal Banglore Challengers, is paying out over $800 thousand to retain the services of three overseas players, including New Zealand's Ross Taylor, for next month's Twenty20 Champions League.

Taylor, South Africa's Jacques Kallis and Australia's Cameron White have been picked by the Challengers, meaning they can't play for their respective provincial sides.

In Taylor's case it means Central Districts will be without him when they play in the competition.

New Zealand cricket though will be compensated though, receiving $275 thousand.

Central Districts will receive $110 thousand of that, with the five other major associations receiving just over $30 thousand each.
