Blatter says countries don't have to play today

Fifa President Sepp Blatter says clubs angry at the timing of international friendly matches should aim their frustrations at the national associations who arrange them and not the world governing body.

More than 50 international friendly matches are taking place across the world today, just days out from many club competitions starting this weekend.

Blatter says there are two dates in the year for friendly matches but it doesn't mean you have to use them or play your best players.
