Wood's rivals bemused at loss of form

The World golf number one Tiger Woods's poor display at last week's U.S. PGA event has left his rivals bemused and wondering how he'll fare in the final major of the year.

He'll tee off in the U.S. PGA Championship at Whistling Straits tonight, after completing the worst PGA Tour performance of his career, finishing eighteen over par at the Bridgestone Invitational.

His on-course focus has been distracted by his unravelling private life and he's indicated he might turn to Florida-based swing coach Sean Foley.

At practice his New Zealand caddie Steve Williams is holding end of a golf club against his head to help him keep it still during his swing.

British world number nine Paul Casey says there's now a different feeling in the locker room as everyone believes the tournament in wide open which isn't the way it's been in the past.

Despite his poor form Woods says his off course life is finally returning to some normality.
