Harrington sets new goals after successful Open defence

The Irish golfer Padraig Harrington has already set new goals as he adjusts to his new status as a multiple major title winner.

Just 24 hours after successfully defending his British Open title at Royal Birkdale, the 36-year-old Dubliner is focusing on a third major, and preferably a different one, saying you need clear and attainable goals to retain the intensity.

Harrington is now ranked number three in the world behind Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, and he's number one in the standings for the European Ryder Cup team.

Michael Campbell's tie for 51st at Royal Birkdale has seen him reverse his slide down the world rankings, improving 13 places to number 399.
