Chambers' challenge may not be last word on drug ban

The head of UK Athletics has admitted that the British Olympic Association's bylaw, which was upheld last week in a challenge brought by the sprinter Dwain Chambers, could well be tested again in the future.

Chambers failed in his attempt to bring about an injunction to allow him to compete in the Olympics in Beijing, having been banned for life for testing positive for drugs.

UK Athletics boss Ed Warner, who supports the lifetime Olympics ban, says the ban may well be tested fully at some point, as the judge was only asked to rule on the injunction, not the validity of the BOA ban.
