The Melbourne Storm's fullback Billy Slater will miss only one match after successfully having his contrary conduct charge downgraded at the National Rugby League Judiciary.
Slater sensationally claimed he was provoked by a barrage of headbutts from St George Illawarra winger Jason Nightingale during last Monday night's fiery natch against the Dragons in Melbourne.
Slater's successful defence means he'll miss only this weekend's match against the Warriors.
