The Bulldogs pair Ben Roberts and Lee Te Maari have been fined and stood down from Monday night's NRL match against St George Illawarra over their involvement in an altercation at a Cronulla nightclub at the weekend.
Each player has been fined $2500 with another $2500 suspended pending any further breaches of the club's code of conduct.
Roberts and Te Maari are said to have been drinking at the Sting Bar when the fight broke out.
The Bulldogs employed their own investigators after the police took no further action when no complaint was made.
The club refuses to say what role the duo played in the scuffle, saying only that they're guilty of "poor behaviour".
