ANZ stadium not sold out for Bledisloe test

The Australian Rugby Union is at a loss to explain as many as 4,000 unsold tickets for tomorrow night's Tri-Nations Bledisloe Cup test against the All Blacks in Sydney.

A crowd of close to 80-thousand will be in Sydney's 83-thousand capacity Olympic stadium, but the ARU's disappointed the Wallabies first Bledisloe Cup test under new coach Robbie Deans hasn't yet been sold out.

Chief executive John O'Neill is hoping to find the answers through an internet questionaire to fans.

False reports that the match had in fact sold out had frustrated O'Neill who thinks the historic fourth Bledisloe Cup test in Hong Kong on the first of November could also be partly to blame.

The All Blacks delayed their arrival in Sydney until yesterday.
