The New Zealand cricketer Jesse Ryder says he's been making the most of his return to the game at the emerging players tournament in Australia after a hand injury cost him a chance to tour England.
New Zealand will play the Australian Institute of Sport in tomorrow's final and Ryder says the hand he cut on a window in a Christchurch bar hasn't been a problem, although he's not been getting as many runs as he'd like.
He's keen to return to the international stage after making a big impact in the one day series win over England -- and hadn't heard the Players Association wants New Zealand Cricket to withdraw from the Champions Trophy in Pakistan in September.
But says personally he would like to go.
