Rafael Nadal has won the Toronto Masters tennis tournament, beating the German Nicolas Kiefer in straight sets to edge closer to the world number one men's place.
Nadal won 6-3 6-2 in an hour and 29 minutes for his fifth straight title and his third Masters crown this year.
The Spaniard is on a 29-match winning streak and, following his maiden Wimbledon triumph over Roger Federer, must surely be almost at the summit of men's tennis.
