The recall of Steve Harmison to England's cricket team for the 3rd Test against South Africa has been criticised by the former England captain Mike Atherton as "uninspiring".
Harmison hasn't played for England since being dropped after the 1st Test against New Zealand in March.
The Durham fast bowler has taken 40 1st class wickets for his county at an average of just over 23.
The 3rd Test against South Africa starts on Thursday at Edgbaston. The Proteas lead the 4-Test series 1-0.
