The Hawke's Bay hooker Hikawera Elliot is still pinching himself after his shock call-up to the All Blacks squad as cover for the injured Andrew Hore.
Hore, who's just re-signed with the Rugby Union, suffered a hip injury in Saturday night's Tri-Nations loss to the Wallabies in Sydney....opening the way for Elliot to come onto the bench at Eden Park for the return fixture.
Elliot only made his Super 14 debut this year for the Hurricanes but now, like team mate Piri Weepu, he's set to play for New Zealand in the must-win Auckland test....
