After a two month wait the draw for the inaugural FIFA Under 17 women's football tournament in New Zealand can be confirmed.
New Zealand will open the event against Canada after the Canadians clinched third spot in the North and Central American qualifying group yesterday.
New Zealand will also play Denmark and South American champions Colombia in their group.
The official draw was held at Te Papa on June the first, but several gaps remained due to late qualifying tournaments around the world.
FIFA conducted a supplemental draw yesterday to place final qualifiers USA, Costa Rica, Canada, Nigeria and Ghana into pools.
