Wallabies set to confront Eden Park hoodoo

10:34 am on 30 July 2008

Wallaby flanker Phil Waugh says his team has to confront their Eden Park voodoo rather than ignore it heading in to Saturday's Tri-Nations rugby test against the All Blacks.

The Wallabies have not won at Eden Park since way back in 1986... losing their last nine games at the ground.

Coach Robbie Deans has also talked about Eden Park being a New Zealand fortress with the All Blacks not having lost to any side there in the last 14 years.

Deans says the Wallabies are expecting the All Blacks to play a much more conservative game on Saturday night, claiming the selection of Leon McDonald was clearly a move to kick more and look for better field position.
