The Wellington golfer Mark Brown will be chasing a slice of the $11 million on offer at the Bridgestone Invitational over the next four days at the Firestone course in Akron, Ohio.
After a frustrating day waiting unsuccessfully for a scratching at the British Open, where he was first reserve earlier this month, Brown has made the exclusive field of 80 for the Ohio tournament, one of four events that make up the World Championship of Golf series.
