All Blacks winger Rudi Wulf is in doubt to make the trip to South Africa for the test against the Sprinboks on Saturday week.

Wulf injured a knee playing for North Harbour on Friday night.

Assistant All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says a decision will be made on Wulf's availability later in the week.

Leon MacDonald is also still under a cloud. A decision on his concussion will be made when he meets the All Blacks doctor mid week.

The All Blacks will take 26 players to South Africa, with Hansen saying that will include three halfbacks and two hookers.

Piri Weepu will be one of the halfbacks.
