The former Silver Ferns centre Temepara George says it's too soon to say what future she has with the Northern Mystics now the netball franchise has sacked coach Yvonne Willering a year into her three-year contract.
George says she wasn't prepared for what she heard from the Mystics chief executive Mark Cameron yesterday.
She says the news came as a big shock.
George says she now wants to talk to Willering and hasn't given any thought as to who might replace her as coach next season.
Mark Cameron says the Mystics didn't meet their target of being a top four team in the trans Tasman championship, but it would be unfair to attribute it solely to coaching.
