The New Zealand triathlete Sam Warriner has taken acclimatising to the extreme as she prepares for her event in Beijing.
She's sealed up the air conditioning in her apartment as she tries to get used to local temperatures in the mid-thirties with high humidity.
Warriner's event is not for another week and she's currently training in Cheju in South Korea.
She says she's been eating boiled eggs and rice as part of her race diet.
