Williams declares All Blacks World Cup plans

The runaway league star Sonny Bill Williams says he wants to play for the All Blacks at the 2011 World Cup and to become one of the best centres in international rugby.

Williams made his rugby union debut with French team Toulon on Saturday despite a New South Wales Supreme Court injunction ruling that he could play with no club but the Bulldogs where he's contracted until 2013.

The Kiwi international backrower started on the left wing in Saturday's pre-season game before moving into the centres, a position he says he wants to make his own.

Williams says it'll take a couple of years to fully adjust to the 15 man game where his long term goal is to play for the All Blacks.

But in the short term he wants to repay coach Tana Umaga's faith in him by playing good rugby and winning the competition with Toulon.
