NZ Olympic eventers should cope with tough CC course

The New Zealand 3-day eventing manager Blyth Tait feels today's cross country course at the Hong Kong Olympic facility should suit the New Zealand team.

The team is sixh overall with Jo Meyer 19th, Andrew Nicholson 21st and Caroline Powell in 26th the counting scores after the dressage.

Tait, a former Olympic champion, says the medals won't be decided on the dressage so being in 6th place isn't a concern.

Tait says they have the experienced riders and good jumping horses that should cope with a tough cross country course.
