Harrington makes history at PGA

Irish golfer Padraig Harrington's savouring making golf history after his two shot win at the USPGA Championships in Michigan.

Harrington shot a final round, four under par 66 to finish on 3 under and hold off the challenge of Spain's Sergio Garcia and American Ben Curtis.

Harrington became the first European player to win consecutive majors in the same year following his British Open victory last month and also became just the fourth player to win the British Open and PGA in the same year.

New Zealand's Mark Brown finished in a tie for 24th on 9 over par, while Michael Campbell blew out at the end finishing on 13 over par.
