The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has lost her opening match at the Olympics in Beijing.
She's lost 7-5, 6-7, 4-6 to Japan's Ayumi Morita, who's ranked almost 100 places below her on the world rankings.
Erakovic was far from her best in an error ridden display, in a match that last over two days due to the weather, which disrupted the tennis programme.
