New Zealand swimmer Melissa Ingram has finished sixth in her semi-final of the 200 metres backstroke and missed a place in the final at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Ingram finished in a time of 2.09.70, outside her personal best, recording the 11th fastest time of the semi-finals.
American Elisabeth Beisel won Ingram's semi while Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry led the field home in the second semi-final.
