Steamers look to roll on against Taniwha

10:56 am on 21 August 2008

Bay of Plenty take on Northland in Whangarei on Friday night in the national provincial rugby championship, with the Steamers still pinching themselves over their near-perfect start.

After three rounds they're in second place, just one point behind leaders Wellington.

Steamers Head Coach Kevin Schuler has made just one change from the starting line-up against North Harbour, with hooker John Pareanga returning from injury.

Solomon King is only a possible starter, with New Zealand Under 20 rep Luke Braid set to move up from the bench if King doesn't come through an injury scare.

The game kicks off at just after half past seven on Friday night.

Bay of Plenty: Forwards: Joe Savage, John Pareanga, James McGougan, John Moore, Culum Rettalick, Solomon King, Tanerau Latimer (captain), Colin Bourke.
