Triathlon bronze medallist Bevan Docherty admits thoughts of his Athens silver medal came flooding back in the sprint to the finish line in Tuesday's event at the Beijing Games.
While four years ago in Athens he was pipped by fellow New Zealand Hamish Carter, this time he was edged out by good mate Jan Frodeno of Germany and the Sydney Games gold medallist Simon Whitfield of Canada.
With 500 metres to go he had deja vu but this time he says he changed his tactics a little bit.
However unlike Athens he couldn't push for the silver.
Docherty says he's super happy with the medal though and that he gave it everything.
