Springbok coach Peter de Villiers has dropped fullback Percy Montgomery from the starting line-up for this weekend's Test against Australia.

Montgomery, who has played 100 Tests, is one of two changes from the team beaten 19-0 by the All Blacks in Capetown.

Springbok coach Peter de Villiers says the change is designed to give South Africa more pace against the Wallabies.

The other change to the side is the inclusion of winger Jongi Nokwe for his second Test cap in replace of the injured Bryan Habana.

There is one change in the reserves with Joe van Niekerk included in place of utility forward Danie Roussouw.

Team: Conrad Jantjes, JP Pietersen, Adrian Jacobs, Jean de Villiers, Jongi Nokwe, Butch James, Fourie du Preez, Pierre Spies, Juan Smith, Schalk Burger, Victor Matfield (capt), Andries Bekker, CJ van der Linde, Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira.
