The England football team has been booed off the field after a disappointing 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic in a friendly international at Wembley.

Chelsea's Joe Cole scored England's equaliser in the match, two minutes into injury time at the end of the game.

Earlier former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Milan Baros had given the Czechs the lead before England fullback Wes Brown equalised on the stroke of halftime.

Marek Jankulovski put the Czechs back in front three minutes into the second half before Cole's strike saved England's blushes.

Elsewhere the world champions Italy were also held to a 2-2 draw by Austria in a friendly in Nice.

Scotland drew nil-all with Northern Ireland in Glasgow and European champions Spain beat Denmark 3-0 in Copenhagen.
