The New Zealand golfer, Danny Lee has announced he will delay turning professional regardless of the outcome of tomorrow's final of the US Amateur Championships in North Carolina.

After his semi final win the 18 year old from Rotorua is on track to become the youngest ever winner of

the championships.

Lee's 3 and 2 win against American Patrick Reed will already earn him an invitation to start in the US Open

next year - and will earn a number of other invitations should he triumph tomorrow, including the British Open and likely the Masters.
