The beleaguered South Africa rugby coach Peter de Villiers says he'll take responsibility for his team's poor results in the Tri-Nations competition.
The world cup holders have lost four of their five Tri-Nations matches and were booed off the field in Durban on Sunday after losing to Australia.
De Villiers says if a company is doing badly, the managing director takes the blame so it's right and fair that the coach be held responsible.
He says South African fans are angry and rightfully so.
But he says the Springboks played great rugby in Durban and should have won if they'd taken their opportunities.
