Mixture for New Zealand A cricket selection

New Zealand Cricket has named a mix of established players and newcomers for its A team's tour of Australia and India.

Coach John Bracewell says the players were selected with an eye to the future.

The team leaves for Brisbane on Friday, where they will play warm-up matches against the Queensland Bulls before heading to India next week for a one-day tri-series against India A and Australia A.

New Zealand A: Brent Arnel, Neil Broom, Grant Elliott, Peter Fulton, Mark Gillespie/Iain O'Brien, Martin Guptill, Greg Hay, Nathan McCullum, James Marshall, Michael Mason, Jeetan Patel/Trent Boult, Aaron Redmond, Bradley Scott, Reece Young, BJ Watling
