England's cricketers have crushed South Africa by 10 wickets at Trent Bridge in Nottingham to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match one day series.

South Africa made only 83 in 23 overs after their captain Graeme Smith won the toss - their lowest ever one-day score against England and the second lowest ever.

The fast bowler Stuart Broad produced his best ever figures of five for 23 from 10 overs and England reached their target in the 15th over.

Matt Prior, who was 45 not out, took six catches to join Adam Gilchrist, Alec Stewart and Mark Boucher as the only wicketkeepers to take six catches in an innings in a one-day international.
