Loeb continues to hunt down Hirvonen in Rally New Zealand

The WRC driver's champion, Citroën campaigner Sebastien Loeb, has continued to reduce the lead of Ford rival Mikko Hirvonen in Rally New Zealand.

After four stages of the second day Loeb is 5.3 seconds behind Hirvonen who started Saturday 27 seconds in front.

Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala holds third place with Citroën's Dani Sordo wrapping up a top four with a total elapsed time only 26.5 seconds slower than Hirvonen.

New Zealander Richard Mason is in eleventh place.

There's two Te Akau special stages to be run this afternoon.

The rally wraps up with the final run of the Mystery Creek super special stage about 2 o'clock tomorrow.
