The match fixing allegations surrounding Nikolay Davydenko have surfaced again at the U.S. Tennis Open after the Russian fifth seed lost fourth-round loss to130th-ranked qualifier Gilles Muller of Luxembourg.
Muller is the first qualifier since 2000 to make a grand slam quarter final.
Davydenko is involved in a still-unfinished match-fixing probe rising from odd betting patterns involving $10 million, after a surprise loss a year ago in Poland.
Muller will now play former world number one Roger Federer who scraped past 23rd seed Igor Andreev 6-7 7-6 6-3 3-6 6-3.

American favourite Andy Roddick also went through to the quarter-finals and will meet Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals after the Serbian third seed won a gruelling five-setter against Tommy Robredo of Spain.
While in the women's draw Olympic champion Elena Dementieva and second seed Jelena Jankovic advanced to the semi finals.
